FAQ - The Dash does not turn up in the device picker

Click on "Connect a new Dash" in the Bragi App if you are using it for the first time. You'll get step-by-step instructions on how to connect The Dash with Bragi App. If The Dash is still not displayed in the device picker please check the points below.


The Dash is sufficiently charged and turns on
When your Dash is placed in The Charger, The LightGuide of The Left and Right Dash will breath in sync. After you insert The Dash in your ears you should hear the insertion sound on both sides. You can find more information about this topic here.


Connect The Dash with your phone 
Go to the Bluetooth settings of your phone and make sure that The Dash is connected to your phone. It should be shown as connected device with the name "The Dash ##". If this is not the case, please follow the instructions outlined in the Bluetooth pairing process.


The Dash is not already connected to other Apps
In case you were using The Dash with another application prior to Bragi App, make sure to disconnect first and then connect to Bragi App afterwards. The Dash can only be connected to one application at a time.


Amount of time to recognize The Dash
Go to the device picker within Bragi App. If The Dash is not immediately shown in the device picker, please give Bragi App some time to detect The Dash. Afterwards you can connect The Dash to Bragi App by selecting it by tapping on the devices name.
