To achieve a PerfectFit, The Dash comes with a variety of FitSleeves in different sizes. Additionally, The Dash can be further adjusted with FitTips Pro to improve the fit within the inner ear canal. Replacement FitSleeves or FitTips Pro can be purchased here.
FitSleeves & FitTips Pro
The silicone FitSleeves are perfect for activities like Running, Cycling and Swimming where you rely on accurate sensor data. Designed to provide a tight and secure fit in the outer ear, the FitSleeves ensure that the sensors are properly in contact with your skin even during heavy movement. Especially during swimming the FitSleeves are recommended as the sealing of the outer ear prevents too much water from entering your ear canal.
On the other side, The FitTips Pro offer an additional way of improving the fit of The Dash. Using The FitTips Pro are specifically designed to improve sound quality which is why they are great when it comes to listening to audio.

Impact of The PerfectFit
The performance of the Activity Tracker as well as the audio quality and optimal quality of the EarBone Microphone during phone calls rely on the PerfectFit. If you have a poor seal of the ear canal your audio will lack bass, you sound tinny and the accuracy of the measured data can deviate significantly. Therefore, always make sure to have a proper seal and the DataHub with the two transparent bulbs on the back of The Dash is positioned as close to you skin as possible.
